In Perm, 220 couples who had been married for 50 years or more were presented with commemorative plaques "For the Preservation of Family Values." Mayor Eduard Sosnin participated in the ceremony.

"Today we honor couples who have been married for more than half a century. You have created an unbreakable union and shown your loved ones how family can help overcome any difficulties and teach us to enjoy the simple, yet so important, moments in life. Your stories are a living chronicle of our city, its pride. You laid a solid foundation for Perm's development, and now your children and grandchildren are making it an increasingly visible and vibrant spot on the map of Russia," noted Eduard Sosnin.

The professional folk group "Grusha" and the chamber orchestra "Orpheus" performed for the couples celebrating their family anniversaries.

It should be noted that the presentation of the commemorative badge for the preservation of family values is a public award established by Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin in 2021 to recognize families who have been officially married for 50 years or more.
